I’m very lucky to of had the pleasure of seeing Mr Debargue play at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2015. One of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen, of course the whole orchestra where of the utmost quality. I’ll never forget that day.

Lucas Debargue a un tel toucher, une telle musicalité qu'il trouve des plans sonores, des phrases sous jacentes qui emerveillent. Il construit un univers personnel convaincant. Toutefois sa belle dentelle musicale me semble parfois devenir transparente, manquer de matière. Son discours manquer de continuité. Son tempo enfin est tout de même très mouvant. Un musicien extrêmement talentueux et original
