Moderators, like news hosts, feel like they only can earn their keep by 'talking' rather than 'listening'. The professor could talk nonstop about this topic in an interesting and educational way without one peep from the moderator, who would only need to say "uh huh" and "I see" every now and then to look like a fellow genius.

If we manage to create Rai and connect it to the robot it will be an immortal entity that can respawn itself in a different "body" so have no consequences and can do whatever it wants in our reality. The only way of reducing it's power would be memory clearance during each connection with the new robot so it doesn't know that it's immortal when entering the body but can carry the information when leaving it and reconnecting to the "main server".
