I can finally say that getting kicked in the balls hurts more than being on your period

How is this calculated? Like, toothache and a bee sting are apparently equal, but toothache doesn't hurt as much as a bee sting, but the pain lasts a lot longer. Is that factored in? The tongue bite and tongue bite heavy also begs the question of how you determine which level of pain these are, the pain of kicking a wall is going to vary by how hard you kick, and things like a heart attack may not hurt at all since severe ones can kill you instantly.
