I miss loving dinosaurs, and this movie. The time passes so fast. The time when you were free from worries and responsibilities. Miss those days.

Don't lose your way
With each passing day
You've come so far
Don't throw it away
Live believing
Dreams are for weaving
Wonders are waiting to start
Live your story
Faith, hope and glory
Hold to the truth in your heart
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I
Souls in the wind
Must learn how to mend
Seek out a star
Hold on to the end
Valley, mountain
There is a fountain
Washes our tears all away
Words are swaying
Someone is praying
Please let us come home to stay
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I
When we are out there in the dark
We'll dream about the sun
In the dark, we'll feel the light
Warm our hearts, everyone
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
As high as souls can fly
The clouds roll by
For you and I

Having learned James Horner's craft as a composer, I consider him to be one of the best film composers out there, and one we had lost too soon. He knew how to convey an emotion from us through the music. He knew when to be bombastic, when to be joyful, when to be sad, when to be fantastical, and even when to be quiet. He has had an amazing body of work in movies throughout his career, from _Star Trek II_ to _Honey, I Shrunk the Kids_ and from _Titanic_ to _Avatar._

He is even the big reason I'll still happily watch _The Amazing Spider-Man, _ just for his music score on that film, his absence from _TASM2_ was very noticeable, but his explanation for why he didn't return (he even called it "dreadful"), shows that he is not a sellout.

Rest in peace, James Horner. Cinema has lost a powerful voice.

Friends can always be made. We're never as alone as we think. Life will always be beautiful despite the struggles. If we hold on to those notions, we will live life joyfully and fearlessly.

I rewatched this a few months ago and I cried so much. Little Foot had so much faith and kept searching for the Great Valley even when it looked like they'd never make it. I may be 15 but I know a deep movie when I see it!

And they all grew up together in the valley, generation upon generation,
each passing on to the next. The tale of their ancestors' journey to the valley long ago.

The great music of James Horner and the voice of the legendary Diana Ross makes this song so great

I cannot stop listening to this and I can not stop crying. Why must my emotions compete like this? :(
