I’m just getting hip to adobe, and I think it’s great so far. Is it possible to access third-party software/keyboards or what have you like one can do with GarageBand? I guess another way to put it is how do we actually record keyboards and bass and all those other digital assets into adobe record? Is it exactly like garage band?

One question... How the heck do you get the "Loop" button to work when recording? I've searched the Knowledge Base and Forums, can't get a strait answer. I'm tracking drums to a scratch track/clip in the Audition timeline. I'm listening to that while recording 10 tracks made up of my drum microphones. Everything works great, EXCEPT, I have to stop after each take to restart the recording for each take. I lust want it to play back the song over and over again while recording a new Take on each pass. HOW???

Cubase's routing setup is so much better. I can easily select my named DAW input (MOTU M8) from the multitrack view for each track (Piano, vocals, keyboard, etc.). Also, VST instruments works on Cubase, not just effects. I found myself getting frustrated with Audition trying to set it up. Audition seems pretty stable, though. Cubase is a memory hog and sometimes crashes.
