Air Transat Club Class Review

This is a video review for those who are looking to see what you get when you purchase an Air Transat Club Class ticket. Since we were flying club class we decided to create a review of our experiences and what they have to offer when flying club class Air Transat. We thought Club Class is supposed to be their own version of business class but our experience didn't quite match up with that image... though we later learned why and the changes that are being made to improve Club Class with Air Transat.

We Talk about the legroom, service of the flight crew, the airplane food and everything else you get with Air Transat Club Class.

We've flown AT Club Class Vancouver to Varadero numerous times, that was 10 years ago though. Back then there were 21 seats in Club, all larger seats, lots of leg room, front of the plane with the boarding door just behind this section of the cabin, great service, good food. Worth it on a 6 hour flight, Airbus planes, I know they re did the cabins after that. We've also flown Club Class Vancouver to Manchester, TOTALLY worth it for a 9 hour flight!

Club class is VERY different on the widebody aircraft such as the A310 A332 & A333. Club Class on the 737-800 is not really much of an upgrade as the seats don't have extra leg room or wider seating. The Boeing 737-700 Airbus A320 & A321 aircraft that Transat fly do not actually belong to them so they don't provide Club Class, these aircraft are leased during the winter season for flight to the south. Usually these A320 & A321 belong to European Charter airlines that don't need them in the winter, in turn Air Transat lease their A333's to the European charters for flights from Europe to the Caribbean and southern US. In the past Condor & Thomas Cook have had flights with Air Transat planes

One thing to note: the economy class seats on AT are super tiny, smaller than any other airline I've seen. So, it's not, "Is Club worth it" but rather, "are you willing to sit in a tiny space for 7 hours?" For us, club level to Europe on AT is half the price as economy class from the US.

My plane is 737-800 which is 10 seats club class leaving in February 2018 and appears to be the same plane you guys went Thanks for sharing my 1st trip to Cuba and we have 1st row seats and this video really helped

1st this is a small plane not a 330. The 330 is much different and the seats are large. The 330sare only used over seas. keep in mind this isn't 1st class its "club". flights down south they don't use the bigger planes .

The club class in the boeing 737 has been removed since, if you want club class, make sure to ask your agent to check if it's a airbus plane that is scheduled for your destination.

But that is the old air transat seats the new ones are so cool and comfortable the ones that you guys were in it was the really old ones from like five years ago maybe it has dose seats because it's the a310

Just flew in club class and only had two big seats lots of room so not all flights are the same

travelers should always spend another 100/200$ its worth it from vip lounges and your special treatment during your flight and vacay :)
