Inpost Postage Lockers

I've seen inpost come up on sites like parcel2go etc and I'd never used them to send a parcel because I didn't understand how they worked. In this video I will show you how to use them and some advantages and disadvantages of the inpost lockers. The lockers can work out really convenient if you work strange hours or have one close to you. Handy if you are selling on ebay or amazon.

In Poland we have thousands of them and we use this way for about 50% of online shopping delivery. Cheapest up to 20kg. They visit each at least twice a day, so it is very fast. And You can open it with smartphone (GPS needed to avoid opening when not close enough). When we send something, we can, but we do not have to print a label with barcode - they can do it by themselves when driver takes one, he is prepared for this case.

In Poland we have this for years (7 or even more), and trust me this is the best innovation in e-commerce. I order about 15-20 packages monthly and never had any problems with it.

The Algarve (Portugal) is waiting for such a easy machine and there is plenty of space at supermarkets for it. Its also good for the supermarkets, to bring more customers in at day hours.

Quite pride that this is polish compsny. I saw in post lockers in London several years ago while visiting UK. In Poland first locker was put in 2009. Quick success. Now it is hard to find a online store without possibility to choose it to get your order. It is everywhe. I use it to send a packages in my company ( but courier takaes packages so I don't have to go to the machine because it is large amount of it and client pick up it from in post lockers) in 2019 it was 800 machines in UK and about 300 in Italy and other countries use it. In Poland this year they put machine number 15 000 .

Inpost comes from Poland, we use them for a long time. Lifesaver during the COVID lockdowns.

Cheers for this, I was wondering about this too. It beats going in to a Hermes Drop Off Shop with 10 parcels and they look at you like an inconvenience.
Do you know if you can post more than 1 parcel per locker??

Anyone know if you can post multiple parcels (going to different addresses) in one use? It seems like it would be slow to spend 40 seconds per package when you should be able to put in 10 packages into one locker.

@Enginium: There are 3 inpost locker units within close range of each other where I live, 3 miles roughly, doesn't help when their all full "no lockers available". :-(
