He talks about Joey like he passed then they replaced him. They fired him years before he passed

“Firing on all cylinders” may have not been the best choice of words considering how many have gotten fired

It’s almost like Joey and Paul were the glue to the band and losing Chris and Craig just made it worse hopefully it won’t always be like that

It’s basically slipknot inc. at this point.

Clown has mastered the art of saying a ton of words that mean absolutely nothing

Clown, is literally a clown.

Clown: "We were so close, so close in fact that after Paul passed away we fired Joey, kicked Chris out of the band, because we were so close to one another."

With so many changes within the band, I'm not surprised at all

Clown got greedy, Corey ended up being bought after saying he couldn't be.
I covered my S tattoo.
Rip Paul AND Joey!
They were slipknot.
This is not.

I'm not surprised with half of the original band members gone. Slipknot is just a business. They also fired joey before he passed away so saying they had to carry on after him passing is BS

Can’t help but roll my eyes over this with how they treated Joey

Let's Start from the firing of Joey Jordison (R. I. P) after Paul Gray (R. I. P) passed away. There's no way that sounds like they're still Close. Sad that this band once One of my most favorite Band. But today it doesn't feel like that anymore

Slipknot went from a passion for metal to a business.

These guys should change their onstage costumes to suits and ties

I went to their “secret” show back in April in Pioneertown, CA before they officially kicked off their 25th anniversary tour and I noticed they were definitely in a better place compared to previous performances, because they seemed excited for this new chapter. They will never be the exact same as they were back in 1999, but I can tell they still enjoy performing, even probably more than the rough patch they had previously after the loss of Paul and Joey.

Why is Jay Weinberg not mentioned at all? He was part of the band for almost 10 years.

Shouldn’t of let money come in between the friendship of the past members. It was supposed to be a brotherhood

You could hear that closeness in the music they used to write. I pretty much checked out of this band after All Hope is Gone for several reasons, but one of them is that I feel like they had made their statement before the hiatus. Obviously this has always been for money since the start, but the original idea of this band really came through on the first couple records and was the product of a group of people who were hungry to put their stamp on the world. It's a legacy act now.

Imagine if clown left the band instead and everyone didn't get fired?

I mean duh. What did he expect honestly? 4 members gone. Paul died, Joey was kicked out and was never let back in and then he died too, Chris sued them for terrible money problems, and Craig left because idk. Then all of these other guys are just replaceable fill ins. Those guys got rid of Jay like he was never even there. 10 years gone and they didn’t even tell him in person. And then you want people to believe Slipknot is “like a big family”.

Is bro crazy? Of course it won’t be like a family if everyone’s coming and going. A better example of a band that’s like family is Metallica. To this day people still talk of Jason and Cliff. You’d be hard pressed to hear someone talking about Chris Fehn today. Ain’t no family. It’s just work for them now.

I was at the Dallas show last night. It’s amazing that the bulk of the guys are 50 years old, playing the most demanding setlist they have in 20 years. Yet, they are tight as hell, and give 110% of themselves every night. Corey sounds his best since Iowa. I can’t jump on the bandwagon of hating on them for ousted members, or try to pretend I have a shred of knowledge about what goes on in that band behind closed doors. I just know they’ve been my favorite band since ‘99, and I’ll stick with them until there’s nothing left to stick with. I’m just glad they’re still putting out good tunes, playing solid shows, and FINALLY giving some fan service to the day 1 fans with this tour. Eloy’s playing has elevated and energized the OG members. They have stepped up their game to match his performance, and it was just fuckin’ CHERRY, man. So good.

My only complaint was the audience, and how so many took such a special occasion for granted. By that, I mean so many people watched that show through a phone screen. Ipso facto, I had to watch it through their phones screens. It’s so rude, man. I’ll never understand how people can be present at an event such as a live Slipknot show, and now use their own eyes to watch it, and just be in the moment.

Long live Slipknot. RIP Joey and Paul.🤘🏻
