El DeBarge is easily equal to Michael Jackson & Prince when it comes to singing, songwriting, producing .  El wrote, arranged & produced, played most of the instruments on 90% of he & his siblings albums .  MJ & Prince leave him behind, when it comes to commercial success though .  El is a master on the piano, organ, synths, clavinet, Fender Rhodes, & he is a pretty good bass guitar player & drummer/percussionist !  I always have said that, El DeBarge, Rick James & Jermaine Jackson are THE 3 most underrated, unappreciated, singer/songwriters, producers & multi-instrumentalist in the history of music !
