I'm very disappointed in how little attention Vue got this year. I care much more about Vue than Vite...I really don't care much about the build system, but really appreciate anything coming from Vue since our code base is Vue...what build system we use is far less relevant and could be changed easily. For example, generic components and imported types were by far more significant for our code base than 6ms shaved off by having faster build tool.

I as a react dev, really appreciate the focus more on Vite than Vue for better performance.
Vite gets more and more like a platform (to build other frameworks on top of it) - focusing only on 1 thing and doing it well seems like the right choice.
Vue, for me, looks more like a worse of version of React/Svelte.
