He went on to back jazz greats like Dizzy Gillespie and Nina Simone, before transitioning into drum n bass electronica where his mind-boggling abilities allowed him to play beats usually only achievable with drum programming. His instructional DVD "Secret Weapons of the Modern Drummer" has been hailed the "Rosetta Stone of drumming technique."

Thats a fairly ridiculous statement to say that there almost is no other instrument other than the human voice that can communicate on such a high level... shows a real naivety in knowledge of other tonal, melodic instruments.
