Pull Chasca and Lyney or not? Reasons to Not Pull + Welkin Giveaway | Genshin Impact

Around 4 days are left till 5.2 and then we would be seeing Chasca and Lyney in the first phase. Eventually on Monday we would be getting Mavuika and Citlali drip marketing. Before taking risk by pulling Chasca and Lyney, you should consider the following reasons. Reminder that this is simply my opinion and you are free to pull whoever you like. Anyways let move on to the topic. Chasca is a great anemo DPS who has better exploration skills than Wanderer, but, should you risk by pulling Chasca especially free to play players? Mavuika and Citlali are around the corner, arriving with amazing kits that would make your teammate characters powerful. Mavuika would be in the first phase so it would be a dead sign pulling for Chasca and Lyney

Furthermore, the patch 5.2 would only be giving around 75 pulls as free to play players which is quite less than 90 pulls and that would only leave you at 50/50
If you think that farming in 5.3 would let you save as there would be lantern rite festival and you would be getting a lot of primo gems, then you are clearly mistaken. 5.3 lantern rite festival would probably be started by the end of phase 1 of 5.3 as that would be the time the real lunar festival would be starting in China which means you won't be able to get that lantern rite rewards for Mavuika and honestly

even if you farm in phase 1 of 5.3 , you won't be getting much as lantern rite patches have been giving around 87 since 2.4 and if we deduct the phase 2 and lantern rite rewards, the max you would be getting is around 50 pulls as F2P which is definitely not enough.
Furthermore, 5.3 would also be having chronicle banners due to so many leeks from trustable sources confirming it's arrival so it is important to keep this info in mind.
Moreover, If you are pulling for Lyney mainly for his damage than you should consider waiting for Arlechinno who is the top Pyro DPS at the moment
