This was the marketing version of how the Ring alarm system works. I wanted the engineering version. I wanted to know the specific mechanisms by which the alarm would send a notification to my smartphone. How much interaction is required with what servers. That sort of thing. I wanted to evaluate the security and reliability and not simply be sold on purchasing the device.

This video clearly states that indoor sensors do no detect motion while in Home or Disarmed mode. But mine detect regardless of the mode how do I fix? The ringing while home is getting annoying.

Hello Ring. I see you are selling an extender in the 13 pieces package. Does the ring base-station connects to it's sensors over wifi? or is this a direct signal from base-station to the sensors? I have wifi in my garage which is a long way from baste-station. Thanks.
