Sounds like the mom is lying about the said friend and most likely sold the purse… maybe mother doesn’t believe in brands names for her children. But it’s considered theft. Very toxic relationship when the mother doesn’t respect the daughter enough to keep her hands off her belongs.

I agree with these people call the police. Tell them yours. Your $4000 purse was stolen from you. Your mother mits to it and also get her writing to sign that she had lent to a friend.
