Recently Jimmy Pages "Stairway to Heaven" solo was voted the greatest solo of all time by Guitar World readers and listening to this makes me think they got it right. Zakk stays pretty close to the original but still makes you know it's Zakk. I'm sure Jimmy would approve.

awsome solo, i saw zakk back in vancouver bc last year, he did a quick part of the song(begining) than he signed my led zep tribute cd. than i mentioned to him that he(zakk is the 2nd best s to heaven solo ever. . he thanked me. it brings chills to me every time i hear zakks solo, and to mention lou graham voice in the song. both add flavor to the song. tommy 2 f.

Zakk is a very flashy guitar player. He would blow me out of the water any day with his style! However as with all musicians he needs to find another groove to enhance the depth of his music. Zakk, it never hurts to go back in time and learn from the great Roy Buchanon. Roy can put every guitar player to shame! Rock ON! RIP roy!

@letterpool I don't doubt cos of the effects.. he just add lotsa effects you can't listen the real thing.... that's why I'd rather listen to Slash, his tone is awesome!
