Показать описание
Hosted by:
Rami Burstein, PhD
John Hedley-Whyte Professor of Anesthesia, Harvard Medical School
Vice Chair, Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine Research, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
Dr. Burstein’s talk will provide a brief overview of our current understanding of migraine pathophysiology, a more detailed description of the neural substrate of photophobia (attempting to explain how a visual stimulus can make a headache more painful), and how this understanding has led us from discovery to marketing (a product that eliminates photophobia) in less than 4 years.
