Ezekiel Chapter 18
30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Malachi 3:16
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Hebrews 10:16
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

And you cannot stop sinning to BE saved either and there is NO not sinning to STAY saved.

Luke 9:24
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

James 4:14
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Luke 17:3 teaches repenting can be repeated. I enjoyed listening to Peter, yet felt compelled to comment. I thought the message on Evidences of Regeneration was much better. You can listen to my testimony of salvation on YouTube Bruce Palmer's Testimony of Salvation. Bruce

He was young and fired up.
I beiieve that later he would sorrow and repentance are not the same. When you realize you can't undo what you have done and are already too guilty to make up for what you have done. You can't turn around and escape
what's already done. The sin debt has to be paid. Jesus Christ paid my sin debt and I thankfully accept his payment.

Repent means to change your mind.Change your mind believing what God has said. Believe on Jesus as Savior by calling on Jesus name to save from lostness and damnation to knowing you have eternal life because you changed your mind to agree by faith with what God said in his Word. Mr. Ruckman sounds more like a sinner lost turns himself. Conversion is a lost life turning to Jesus Christ believing by faith. Bruce Palmer

P.S. The law did it's work and showed me that I was guilty, guilty, guilty.Without hope, lost and undone.

Repentance is necessary but it isn’t the gospel of Salvation in 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 An unbeliever needs to repent but a believer already BELIEVE. Yes we still repent of everyday decisions every now & then just as God repented too many times in bible. It isn’t a sin issue but an issue of BELIEF & this is what I’ve learned with my studies.

Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 4:5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

The bible teaches very clearly salvation is faith WITHOUT works. Peter Ruckman taught you have to repent of sins which is works. Jonah 3:10 proves this.
Jonah 3:10And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

"There are many people that have turned from sin, but they haven’t turned to anything. There are many people that have turned to God, without turning from sin. None of these people are saved. "- Peter Ruckman. This guy taught the opposite of what the bible does on salvation. He was a Judas and a damnable heretic.

In this video Ruckman says repentance means, “quit your meanness.” (3:57) …what? He also says repentance is turning from sin (7:35). This is adding works to grace (Gal. 1:8-9, Eph. 2:8-9), to the free gift of God (Rom. 6:23) which is received by faith alone. In his booklet “Millions Disappear: Fact of Fiction?” he says about repentance: “That means you have to give up your old way of thinking and living and turn to God.” (Pg. 19) He also consistently required people to say a prayer (misusing Romans 10, which is about being saved from the power of sin, not the penalty) in order to get saved, like at the end of this video, whereas the bible teaches “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31)

Repentance unto salvation is a change of mind. The word repent doesn’t even show up in the book of John, and that book was written to get people saved. He applies 2 Cor. 7:10 to lost people, but the “godly sorrow” in the context of that passage is aimed at saved people. Ruckman does have biblical repentance right in some of his other works but, meh… he’s a bad teacher.

If there is any God, not just the Christian one, but any God, who demands this sort of worship, and tries to instill fear along with love into their followers, they don't deserve to be feared, loved or followed, but instead fought against.
