Crested Butte, Colorado | Things to Do in this Hidden Gem in 4K

This video shows footage from our visit to the ski resort of Crested Butte Colorado in summer (mid-June of 2019). The town used to be a mining site for silver and coal. Crested Butte saw a gradual decline until a ski resort was built there in the 1960s.

One of the places we mention in this video is Kebler Pass Colorado, which is a scenic dirt road boasting one of the best autumn foliage views in Colorado. A lot of footage in this video is from the Snodgrass hiking trail, which is a scenic footpath starting at the town’s outskirts. The trail then goes through aspen groves and fields of beautiful wildflowers. We visited the town during the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival.
