Little tip to make this video even more perfect ; The T cells on the cortex are mainly immature thymocytes along with macrophages which engulf those T cells which are marked for clonal deletion worths mentioning that the cortical capillaries in the cortex have the blood-thymus barrier . This is while the T cells in the medullary part of the nodule are mature .

I agree, the blood-thymus barrier is pretty important, as it practically saves our life. Still, great video.

Thanks man, your stuff is excellent. Please feel free to post longer, more in depth descriptions of these organs. Histology experts are few and far between, and to be honest, pretty busy people. So nice to get some insights and clear explanations of what's going on.

Have you thought of doing comparative videos of infected versus non-infected lymph nodes, or at least progression of lymph nodes during disease (i.e. histology at different time points as the lymph node swells)?
