Ikea Dresser HACK!

I bought this Ikea Tarva 5-drawer dresser when we first moved for some much-needed bathroom storage space! I’ve had the intent of giving it a little update ever since, but am only just now getting around to it!!
I went for a more modern, unique look by staining the top and only one drawer, and painting the rest. For the stain, I used the Varathane Less Mess Wood Stain because it is seriously SO easy (I also used this on my wooden turkey project recently- it’s a new favorite of mine). For the paint job, I used @RustOleumBrands Chalked Ultra-Matte Paint in the color tate green and finished it off with their Matte Clear Protective Top Coat, just to keep it beautiful for years to come! I DID stain the dresser knobs originally and was going to use them, but mistakes were made and puppies snacked on them… so Amazon to the rescue for these vintage-inspired knobs I ended up with. I do love them, so it worked out- just not the vision I had in mind originally, LOL.
