I really admired their relationship, and thought they were the best k-pop couple I've ever seen. My thoughts exactly. From interviews (like Tell is anything) Dawn came off as the most mature to me in terms of not jumping into things. There's no way he didn't discuss marriage, before popping the question. Why say yes. More than anything, he lost the most in this. His identity shriveled next to hers once their dating was announced. After the military it'll be hard for him to come up again.

I applaud her for being brutally honest with herself. It takes a strong woman to admit she's not ready for marriage or kids when society is pushing you to do it. Many women cave into pressure and settle - being miserable on their marriages and eventually divorcing. I wish more women had her courage.

what scares me is if he won't come back. Since leaving the group, Dawn seems to be showing no interest in this industry anymore. You know, it was only a passing thought at the time, but I recently watched the 2 of them on the TV show "The Return of Superman" and I felt then that something was off. I was surprised at how awkward they seemed to each other. I think that experience had the most to do with it. Combined with Dawn leaving soon for military. I feel bad about it generally but especially for Dawn. It feels like he lost the most out of this, including some of his identity, and now the love of his life. He is such a good and true guy, I wish him - and her - only the best in the future

similar thing happened with me and my ex….we were inseparable for almost 6 years, and even got engaged….everyone thought we were gonna be together forever….but behind closed doors there was a lot of doubt and issues going on….I realized I was holding onto a relationship that I was no longer invested in, but for awhile it felt easier to just go with it than to start over again with someone new. It was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made in my life, but I knew it would be best for both of us to separate….my family still gives me a hard time about it even though it’s been over a year.

As a fan of the 2 idols/artists, I am heartbroken for them. I was so excited when they announced their engagement and was looking forward to their wedding. However, they broke up for a reason / reasons so we must respect it because this would not be done lightly. Nevertheless, I still wish both a happy life and hopefully they will find their life time partners whenever that will be. My prayers are with the 2. ❤❤❤
