I guess living in deserts wasn’t the best idea with global warming.

On the upside: Lake-side properties have never been cheaper.

Promising an abundance of water for eight years in the Southwest is a seriously bad joke. Wouldn't expect anything less from msm.

Watched my neighbor water his lawn and concrete for 8 hours today in 115 degree heat. Numb nuts like these people should not live in Phoenix.

If Keystone Pipeline was Approved, Canada could have supplied water to US.

Now that the lake is getting so low, it's the PERFECT Opportunity to gently remove the B-29 "Beetle Bomb" and get it into the hands of the museum Restoration team, there are 2 teams ready to go. The parks Dept was hoarding it stating they wanted to keep it as a tourist attraction, meanwhile it deteriorates. This bomber is famous, has a unique history and needs to be restored to her full glory for ALL to enjoy, Not just the ones who are certified to dive to 160 feet. Now it's only 30 feet, Get it Out Of There!!!

Gee, I guess Tempe is really glad they built that lovely river walk. And the new canal system around Mesa with the bike trails. I think It might have been wiser to to use underground piping for irrigation to prevent evaporation and perhaps not make a man made river in town for appearances. Hope they are only using re-claimed water for all the golf courses.

Lake Meade is Public Land, a result of the Hoover Dam.
Water constitutes soil making all bodies of water, --- land.
But that's another point.

Enough water to last 8 years...at the current level...I doubt it.
The cities depending on this water will become abandoned in a shorter time under the current levels of water consumption and demand.
