my opinion: release the divine in OSRS. Why? because 1. realistically who is going to have a full divine on day 1 let alone the first week. and at that if a person is going to get a divine depends if its split or ls the divine isnt going to be so prominent in OSRS that pking wont be ruined there wont be that many divines and people using them to pk at that. the divine will only be used at DKs and GWD bosses. you cant use a divine at KBD, KQ, Corp or staking (unless you get scammed). 2. for people saying that the damage reduction is too OP, so is the prayer drain and there aren't prayer renewals in OSRS so if a person was too use a divine they would need an assload of prayer pots which is unconventional in OSRS unless you're going to be praying but then why not just pray and not use a divine? release it; it wont be as bad as people are assuming.

going down the same road that rs3 took, noobs think they have to keep having, faster, easier, free, faster, easier, free, game balance goes down the drain, they don't care, all they can see or think is faster, easier, free.
game originally didn't have rune, monsters combat abilities were designed around addy, if you are using rune you are already a step ahead, anything else just passes into the realm of ridiculous.
o, and then there are those who will do whatever it takes for that brief, short lived moment of being the 1st or only one to have one.look at me wheee, o wait, there's another, and another, o bummer, time to vote on putting in another new item.
the only other argument for is the boredom factor, ppl who are bored with the game will constantly be so no matter what is done, endless, pointless battle, the end result will be a game none of us even recognize again.
if you want endless and constant new content to relieve your boredom go back to rs3.
