Using this for 5 months and works flawlessly. Didn't disconnect once. Failed to connect once, but that was probably down to android auto version, cause I always update the app when a new version comes out.

That's awesome, my girlfriend has a 2016 Chevy Equinox and it has wireless and wired car play, so you can do either one and it's pretty cool, she uses it with the wireless.

So I have wireless in my car...but...the Waze app lags...will this improve that?

Just in case anyone thinks it'll work better than the wired solution, be aware that connection will also be lost in case you get your device warm enough. In my own case just trying to wireless charge meanwhile I was using a navigation app such as sygic.

Mike, can you please let us know if you get a full screen display or is it limited to 2/3 of the screen like the android auto USB plug-in?

That's pretty cool Mike. I got an older Chevy (2011). Might look into seeing if that would be compatible with it. Would be nice to listen to my music instead of the same 30 songs the radio plays.

the sticker thing is probably double sided tape so you can mount the device .

there manual is garbage. they do have a app that is way easier to use to get the adaptor to work it still won't connect to wifi to see if theres an update. but after over an hour of trying it finally works

Car already has wireless capability. But andriod auto does not support youtube/netflix. I have kids. Would this allow me to play netflix/youtube? 🥹
