My brother died last Monday. This song keeps playing in my mind. RIP my beautiful beloved brother.

I'm semi-retired, work at Lowe's part-time, and heard this song as part of the store's background music. I grew up in the '60s and this song had a simultaneously retro but refreshing sound. It's hypnotic vibe kind of drew me in subconciously, I think. I don't think it hit me the first time. Anyway, I don't know too much of recent music, so I asked a young colleague if he knew the song. He didn't but held his phone up in the air (to my astonishment as I don't do today's high tech). Couldn't get it that time, but a couple of days ago, I heard the song again, my colleague was there and he snagged it out of the air. Really glad I found this. I see from other comments that it really affects a lot of people (probably a lot younger than me).

I changed my life today. No more thoughts of suicide. This song had a profound impact on my life today.

Bless this music, it really does soothe the savage beast.

This song came out *13 years ago* and I wound up hearing it for the very 1st time on an alternative radio station *today* . It was calming to me after a long and busy day. The name and artist was never given, so I found a pen in the car on the way home and wrote "in my head, there's a Greyhound station" on the palm of my hand. When I got home, I googled the lone phrase on my palm and found this *masterpiece* .

The part around 2:08 really gets to me. one night me and a buddy were on our sail boat playing this solo on our guitars the sea was calm and there were at least 1000 stars out, I miss him.

This song is perfect, can't express how it makes me feel, but almost euphoric. I could listen to this song for ages. I can't stop loving this song and this band. <3

It's been a hard 2 years for me to live. And I have stuffed all that pain, all that frustration down, all that hurt, all that grief deep down. The first line of this song gently brings it out and it helps me cry. We all need that. I'm glad I have this album. It's cleansing and it's healing.

This song brings me much peace after a 30 yr Narcissistic Domestic Abuse Marriage…I am free and no longer surviving but living and thriving.

This song goes out to all those i never get to meet in my life. Someday I'll meet you all, for now they're roads left in both of our shoes.

"cause in my head there's a greyhound station, where I set my thoughts to for off destinations, so they may have a chance of finding a place where they're, far more suited than here."
One of my favorite quotes. 😌

Me and my childhood bestfriend Amanda loved this song. I'm grown now and she died and I cry listening to it because I miss her and I wish she was still here.

I love this song, mostly because it reminds me how much my dad loves me. He told me he use to sing this to me and still does at times. I love listening to it every now and then when I’m feeling down. It seems like my dad will always still with me through this song even if he passes one day.

I love how smart this song is... 1:10-1:22 is just pure expression of love at the second it Hits you. I've never heard anything that describes the 12, 000 tiny mice running up and down your heart when you lock eyes with the true love of your life like these 12 vocaly simple, clean, perfect second do. Incredible.

I listened to this on magic mushrooms...sitting on a loveseat by a window, with soft sunlight shining in on me...watching the patterns shift and grow in the shadowy room. Reds and golds pulsating and spiraling. Nothing short of magical

This is a masterpiece, I wish more songs gave me a underlying feel like this one does.

This is one of those rare occurrences of songs that means something different to each person. The way it’s written seems to speak to each different person, as evident by this comment section. And to think I never knew this song existed save for a few weeks ago. What a genuine masterpiece.
