Tips for it to work:

1. Check if there isn’t another Group Policy Object (GPO) granting permission for remote desktop. In my case, there was one set to request user permission.

2. To discover the user ID remotely, use the command “qwinsta /server:IP or computer name.”

3. To connect, you can add “/noConsentPrompt” at the end. For example: mstsc /shadow:User ID /v:Name or IP /noConsentPrompt.

4. You can also control the computer by appending “/Control” to the command. For instance: mstsc /shadow:User ID /v:Name or IP /Control.

I hope this helps! Thank you for the video; it was very helpful. 😊

Hello, 1- remote desktop computer connection requires user confirmation. 2-Also, when the user accepted the control, the client computer could not be managed. 3-An unauthorized connection was selected but it requests permission from the user.
