Maybe this is just the anime, but a big narrative point of ultra instinct is that once goku has it, he's surpassed the gods. There have been statements saying UI sign goku from the TOP ended up possibly surpassing Beerus. Goku literally has been fighting his ass off (Broly) and has trained with an angel tier character in a Hyperbolic Time Chamber type of room, and STILL Moro without fusing beat the shit out of him. Whether it's the anime, or manga, the gap between UI Sign and Complete UI seems to always be pretty big. It's no wonder goku stomped Moro because just from the latest narrative alone, Goku should be the strongest character we've ever seen excluding the angels and anyone higher.

I think Beerus grows stronger based on how strong the mortals in his universe are. Just like ultra ego grows more powerful the more damage he takes I think beerus is constantly growing stronger based on hoe strong the mortals are. It's the only way the God of destruction can maintain balance in the universe.

I don't like the fact that people like Geekdom dismiss Goku's ability to scale characters. He is the best power scaler in DB/DBZ/DBS. But Geekdom and MJ both dismissed Goku's assessment of Broly, talking about that Goku was using Battle of gods Beerus and comparing him to Broly. They completely dismissed the fact that Goku witnessed all of the gods of destruction fighting to the point of exhaustion in the Zeno exhibition. Geekdom contradicts himself when he said that the Goku and Vegeta in the Broly movie are most likely based off the Manga version since they did not use Kaio Ken or Blue evolution to fight Broly. But then turns around and makes the claim that we shouldn't trust Goku's assessment of Broly because he never has seen Beerus at full power! He picks and chooses what version he wants to use to fit his argument.

We saw the power gap between UI omen and MUI, Goku went from being one shotted to absolutely destroy Moro without even trying. I don't think the zenkai boosts in 2 arcs would equate to that sort of power gap. And Jiren put up a waay better fight against MUI than Moro. In my books, Jiren> Moro 73

MUI Goku (Moro Arc) > Moro7-3 > Moro (Prime) > UIO Goku (Moro Arc) > MUI Goku (ToP Arc) > Jiren Full Power and Limit Break > UIO Goku (ToP Arc) > Beerus

This is the scaling that us power scalers would more than likely agree, with very minor changes. Because we're simply going by EVERYTHING that was stated in manga, anime and other official sources that has Beerus surpassed.

Moro 73 for me is the strongest opponent in DBS currently. I feel like whenever Moro is being compared to other characters like Jiren and Beerus, Merus is never taken into account. Merus based on his status should be stronger than everyone so far not including the higher Angel tiers. He's mastered UI yet people will be on that "but Beerus has ui and would just Hakai Moro" not taking into account that UI Sign Goku should have a better UI than Beerus yet he was stomped by *BASE* Moro. Then there's the fact that Moro is a haxed character and can copy Hakaishin abilities if Merus was worried about his Angelic powers getting copied

For me right now:
Moro 73>>Prime Moro>UI Sign Goku (Moro)>=<CUI Goku (T.O.P)>Jiren>Beerus. A lot of people will disagree with me but this is just where I've gotten with feats and statements. (That dodging all the G.O.D feat is overrated as hell since dodging does not equal greater power. Look at the UI Goku vs Kefla fight)

Comparing UI-omen to UI based off the anime and manga has a large difference between each other, even compared to Kaioken (and forced powerups) to UI-omen, I feel like we need to see this arc end to properly end this debate.

HOWEVER I am in support of Moro being stronger than Beerus, since we already know Perfected Blue Vegeta was already compared to other gods of destruction by Beerus after forcing the cat's hand and statements from the ToP & Broly film in tandem with the abruptly large power jumps Goku & Vegeta had over Chadhan in this arc and the last.

The Ultra Instinct Omen being stronger than Beerus statement during the ToP is kind of misleading as a few translators like Ken Xyro have clarified that the statement refers to Mastered Ultra Instinct. His translation (which is on his Twitter. August 4, 2018) is:
“In ep 129 Goku finally perfects Ultra Instinct and his entire body shines silver. Looking at this, Beerus says -He might have surpassed me-“

Basically the magazine has Omen on the cover, but the statement refers to MUI, implying it’s only when Goku goes MUI that he actually surpasses Beerus (which is supported by the fact that Belmod still sayin stuff like “As long as you don’t kill him...” and Jiren being confident his blast could take out UI Omen Goku at the end of ep 129).

They also seems to be using UI from the Anime to compare it to UI in the Moro Arch which is in the Manga! The ToP version of UI in the anime is stronger than it was in the Manga!

I somewhat don’t agree with your point about a lesser form. What I mean is that, we are given the information about how strong those characters got like “Supreme Kais can one shot Frieza”, “Goku beat Hit without a Kaioken x10 and on Hit level with SSG. These are the type of scaling we need to prove just how strong Moro arc is compare to TOP. We literally don’t know if Goku increase in power enough to one shot Jiren(chpt 64) or was the increase like a small difference but still resulted in characters seeming to be stronger (ex. Vegeta vs Dorida)

My big problems with Moro are:
-He doesn't know Beerus and Whis nor UI and yet he state he's above the Gods. At best this statement means that he is stronger than Grand Supreme Kai would ever be now. I used to use that statement to put him in GoD level but it no longer apply thanks to his limited knowledge.
- Merus state that the UIO Goku is using isn't at full strength or else Goku would lose the stability. Because of this we don't even know if UIO Goku Moro arc is above UIO Goku ToP arc. Even tho Goku is stronger UIO is weaker now, so we can't measure Moro based on his performance against that version of Goku.
- Merus only used his full strength at the end and Moro was unable to stop him from punching him. At best It means Merus needs his full power against Moro, I guess but even then Merus still shit on him and Merus is weaker than Whis. So Whis being able to one shot Moro casually like GoDs is debatable.
- Moro got 2 shotted by UI Goku. Granted Goku is way more powerful than before but how strong he gotten is too unquantifiable, it could 1.5 or 100.
Because boost in dragon ball are drastic even if as small as 1.5 as shown in Namek arc.
-Unlike Jiren or Broly, Moro is never compared to the GoD to back up his strength. Whis and Toppo believe Jiren to be GoD, Goku believe Broly to be GoD, but no one state that for Moro for some reason. Like it's the easiest way to tell us how strong Moro is(DB like it's Tell don't show storytelling after all, Toyo himself like to do it with Vegetto blue in FT arc) but for some reason Toyo and Tori don't commit to it, why?
-Finally, another easiest would be to directly state that Moro is the strongest they faced. They did for Jiren in the show and Broly in the promotional material. Why not do it for Moro if feats doesn't help?

Moro is strong in a sense that Guldo is strong. His magical attacks pretty much give him his strength, like Guldo who could stop time.

Moro literally one shotted ui omen Goku that trained with an angel. He is not weak, it's just Goku mui is too strong right now. Meerus literally told with ui Goku would be unbeatable. And when Meerus made that statement i think he literally meant Goku would be stronger than everyone other than beings such as angels who also has ui btw and Zeno since he can erase anyone. Other than that i don't think anyone would be able ti challenge Goku unless they nerf ui for future arc with some bs logic. And not only Meerus even Whis said with ui they can be untouchable and avoid any danger. Sure Jiren did land a hit but that was the first time Goku achieved the form and his body was not ready for such a strong form as well as it was not stable. But right now it looks like Goku perfected the form and Meerus also said this time it would be stable. And if we go by manga then ui has been potrayed as how Whis described it because Jiren was not able to land a hit while Goku was in ui. Goku right should be easily stronger than Beerus unless they pull out some hidden power out of their ass for Beerus.

Jiren is still the strongest antagonist until now in my opinion from comparing what I saw.
