How to call an API in Wordpress using PHP

In this video I am going to show you how to call an API in Wordpress using PHP.

We will use a GET-Request to get a response of the API. The API is a public and free to use API.

Steps and Requirements

-Download the "Insert PHP Code Snippet"-Plugin and install and activate it
-Copy and paste the code of the PHP-file of the github-link
-Use the shortcode on any post or page and enjoy your API-requests

Apperently youtube deletes links you guys post here. Make sure your API allows GET-requests, otherwise this won't work.
