Warm, sunny days in the forecast

We are tracking warm, sunny weather with temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees above average.

It will be a seasonably cool start to the day, with morning lows in the 40s. However, temperatures will warm up quickly into the upper 70s and lower 80s with sunny skies and light winds.

High pressure will persist over the region through the weekend. Expect above-average temperatures, mostly clear skies and light winds for the next several days. Air quality has been in the “good” range around Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, however, that might change. Fires burning in the Cascades are putting out smoke, and some of that might slowly seep eastward.
