Tony's lack of jersey accent didn't have the makings of a varsity athlete

“His hands were too small” which I find hilarious cause in an episode he grabs someone by the face and I swear to god it just looked like the head wasn’t there, man’s got hands like shovels 😂

I miss the voice-overs from season 1. Wish they would have kept them throughout the series

Uncle Joon used to take tone to Yankees games and told Mantle he'd never be a varsity athlete.. hehehe

Tony talked kinda like the main dude in Good Fellas at the start of sopranos which is fitting given how many actors the two pieces of media have in common.

Thank god they dropped the narration after episode 1

I was thinking the same.. it was a cool story device until they just did away with it after a few episodes. My reasoning:

We wanted less so to hear from Tony directly about how he was feeling, and more to see from the outside looking in, and to infer his feelings or lack thereof regarding the world around him and the people in it.
