Metal Guitar Counterpoint 🎸

So in a modal perspective the notes of the two voices would form power-chords, as we usually do in guitar territory when any two notes are a damn power chord, resonant or not, sometimes we add an outer note (outside the scale) - you know, the whole usual stuff.
So aparently in counterpoint composing using a single instrument we try to play two melodies at once, wether or not their combinations goes into chord/scale.

Im doing the first serious research on this and its surprising the lack of content about it

Counterpoint is a cool thing and it is using in metal also. So what did U play? It sounds very classical ^ ^
