Update JD AutoTrac (07-2022):
John Deere now offers a new way to use AutoTrac guidance on machines from other manufacturers. To get AutoTrac onto a non-John Deere machine, John Deere cleverly uses an ISOBUS feature: AutoTrac TIM activation for Universal Generation 4 Displays, allows farmers to use the AutoTrac guidance system on other manufacturers' tractors. To use John Deere's AutoTrac TIM track guidance, users need the following items:

- ISOBUS display John Deere Gen4 Universal 4240 or 4640
- Satellite receiver John Deere StarFire 6000 or 7000
- Tractor with AEF-TIM certification

Rectification: The MF5S uses more engine oil when replacing: 16 l. vs 11,6 l. for the JD6M.

Interesting comparison- thanks! For me, the 5S is by far the more modern tractor. Really sleek looks, too.

De MF 5S serie heeft sinds enkele maanden een fabrieksupdate gekregen op motorsoftware. Daarmee zouden alle modellen de beschikking hebben gekregen over ongeveer 5 pk transportboost, beschikbaar vanaf versnelling 2E tot 4F. Bijvoorbeeld een MF 5S.125 gaat van 125 pk naar 130 pk met boost. Het maximaal koppel gaat van 520 Nm naar 540 Nm. Het maximale toerental is verhoogd van 2100 naar 2200 t/min. Het stationair toerental bij gebruik van de handrem is verlaagd van 750 t/min. naar 700 t/min. De boost is niet beschikbaar voor hydraulisch vermogen of aftakaswerk.
Die Baureihe MF 5S hat in den letzten Monaten ein werkseitiges Update der Motorsoftware erhalten. Damit hätten alle Modelle etwa 5 PS an Transportleistung gewonnen, die von Gang 2E bis 4F verfügbar sind. Ein MF 5S.125 zum Beispiel steigert seine Leistung von 125 PS auf 130 PS mit Boost. Das maximale Drehmoment wird von 520 Nm auf 540 Nm erhöht. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit wird von 2100 auf 2200 U/min erhöht. Die Leerlaufdrehzahl bei angezogener Handbremse wird von 750 U/min auf 700 U/min reduziert. Der Boost ist nicht für hydraulische Leistung oder Zapfwellenarbeiten verfügbar.
