Pentagon press secretary John Kirby on Thursday provided an update on the latest developments in the war in Ukraine as Russian forces continue to bombard Mariupol with airstrikes. Earlier in the briefing, Kirby addressed U.S. intelligence sharing with Ukraine. "The United States provides battlefield intelligence to help Ukrainians defend their country," Kirby said during the briefing. "We do not provide intelligence on the location of senior military leaders on the battlefield or participate in the targeting decisions of the Ukrainian military."

Listening to these people ask dumb questions and rephrasing questions that he’s either already answered or made it clear that he won’t answer is annoying.

Yesterday: Lt. Col. Denis Prokopenko, the Commander of Azov batallion, states (in a live video) that it is 70 days as the Heroic Azov battalion's garnison defends the Azovstal fortress plant, attacked from every direction, against the far exceeding ruSSian enemy forces, by themselves.

For the past two days the ruSSian enemy has broken in, and excruciating bloody battles are going on in the Azovstal plant RIGHT NOW.

He thanks the Entire World for the huge support, asserts that his fighters are worthy of it.

He says the situation is very difficult and they keep up their resistance, fulfilling the orders to defend despite the extreme challenges.

The short message ends.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to her Heroes!

( I will add: Denis Prokopenko assumed the command of Azov battalion while still in his twenties. He is barely over thirty now. His grandfather was the only one to survive russo-finnish war of 1939, in which this grandfather fought on the Finnish side. Lt. Col. Prokopenko is a Hero of Ukraine, among his other awards).

I wonder what year in reporter school they cover beating a dead horse and asking hypotheticals?
"Admiral Kirby, can you please predict for us what will happen in 2027?"
"I know you've already answered this, but I'll ask it again, just in case you forgot that you said you wouldn't talk about it..."

Why would reporters keep trying to get someone to comment on things that should be left unsaid. It seems like reporters are working for someone other than America. Us true American people would not ever want to put on media what we may or may not be doing. It is so annoying to hear those type questions asked

This is unprecedented giving out classified info to a foreign country, such as Ukraine.

Some people will go to any lengths to manufacture a story. I wish they would boost the volume about 10%. I'm maxed out here. YouTube usually comes through loud and clear, so it's the channel or their audio guy onsite.

Like I believe Belarusian troops are just doing military exercises, especially when they are Russian allies, and that's also exactly what Russia said before they invaded Ukraine.

Actually, Mr. Kirby (the Pentagon's press secretary) needs to inform the "American people, " if the U.S. Congress (in accordance with Article I, Section VIII, Clause XI of the U.S Constitution, ) has already declared "war, " in the defense of the independent country of "Ukraine, " in its conflict with Russia!
Even though, the U.S. Congress (under such Article) has the sole authority to declare "war" against another country, (or countries, ) but there isn't an established format for the U.S Legislators, to officially make such declaration.

Not only has the U.S. President (Joe Biden) had already declared to the nation of his unconditional support to the Ukrainian President (Zelenskyy, ) so his country could become victorious in its conflict with Russia.
The U.S. Secretary of Defense (Lloyd Austin) has represented the "Biden Administration, " by having officially travelled to the country of "Ukraine, " to assure its President (Zelenskyy) of the unconditional support of the U.S. President (Joe Biden, ) in the defense of his country.

Unbelievably, just a few days later, the "Speaker of the U.S House of Representatives" (Nancy Pelosi, ) along with other U.S. Legislators had also traveled to "Ukraine, " to deliver her support, and of the other U.S. Legislators to the Ukrainian President (Zelenskyy.)
Incidentally, she actually bowed to him when she met him.
(A few days earlier, she had already escorted the Ukrainian Prime Minister at the U.S. Capitol.) Why was it even necessary for her and those U.S. Legislators to travel to "Ukraine, " after she had personmally escorted the Ukrainian Prime Minister at the U.S Capitol, and also, the U.S. Secretary of Defense (Lloyd Austin) had also traveled to "Ukraine, " to meet with the Ukrainian President (Zelenskyy?)

Since the U.S. House of Representatives has repeatedly appropriated the funds requested by the U.S. President (Joe Biden) to provide all sorts of armaments, and other logistical supports to the Ukrainian President (Zelenskyy) to defend his independent country (Ukraine, ) and so many "Officers of the United States" have already traveled to the independent country of "Ukraine, " to insure that it would become victorious in its conflict with Russia; has the U.S. Congress already declared "war" in its defense, or, has the U.S. President (Joe Biden) exceeded the "executive power, " vested in him (under Article II, Section I of the U.S Constitution, ) to have gotten the "United States of America" involved in a conflict between two independent countries (Russia and Ukraine?)

What's the definition of a "proxy war?"
