Initial article

I'm familiar with the general topic of underground structures at Giza, but the specific claims by Corrado Malanga, Filippo Biondi, and Meli require some context.

These researchers have made claims about discovering extensive underground structures beneath the Giza plateau in Egypt, including what they describe as underground cities or tunnel networks. Their work involves using (SAR) and other remote sensing technologies to detect what they believe are non-natural formations beneath the pyramids.

Corrado Malanga is an Italian researcher who has made various claims about discovering underground chambers at Giza. Filippo Biondi is an Italian researcher who has used satellite radar imaging technology and claims to have found evidence of underground structures. These researchers sometimes work together and have published materials about their alleged findings.

Their claims typically include:
- Discovery of extensive tunnel networks and chamber systems
- Evidence of advanced engineering beneath the pyramids
- Possible "technological" rooms or spaces used by ancient civilizations

It's important to note that mainstream Egyptology and archaeology have not validated these claims. The Egyptian authorities tightly control research at Giza, and official excavations have not confirmed the existence of extensive underground cities as described by these researchers.

While there are known underground elements at Giza, including tunnels, shafts, and chambers documented by archaeologists, the extensive "underground city" claims remain controversial and outside mainstream archaeological consensus.

If you're interested in this topic, I'd recommend consulting peer-reviewed archaeological sources about the known underground structures at Giza, as there are indeed fascinating subterranean elements that have been officially documented at the site.

This is clearly a Pyramid scheme.
(I was working on a joke about a mummy, but I wasn't sure how to wrap it up.)

After watching the documentary “The Fifth Element” I have come to the conclusion that the structures under the pyramids are the storage chambers for the four stones we need to save the earth and the fifth element is chilling down there scrolling the web.

So thousands of years ago they created long mining shafts just to promote the Minecraft movie? What a great timing!

It would be so cool to find an Egyptian terracotta army buried under the pyramids.

One day they will find out, that the Pyramids are the oldest practical joke in history. A secret chamber will be found and inside there is a box. In the box is a note that says:"Guten Tag from Deutschland, das time travel works and we built these Pyramids for no reason at all.".

I like the renditions where the tops of the pyramids are just the peaks of massive obelisks.

My uneducated theory. The weight of the pyramids compacted the earth below making it appear different from the surrounding earth to ground penetrating radar.

As someone that has grown up in mining country, I see your point.
Seems like a reasonable hypothesis.
As these theoretical mines are surrounded by the same rock shelf they have excavated, it is at less risk of collapsing in.
Generally this is usually due to the surrounding composite materials being able to shift. In this case it is solid rock.

Something as heavy as the great pyramid would compress the ground beneath it, even stone, creating a denser reading directly beneath it than in the surrounding area.

i think its where the Pharaos mother in law tripped, she was so fat that she quickly sunk through the limestone towards the earth core, they built the pyranids over the hole to plug it and prevent the mother in law from climbning back out and to prevent the lava from spilling out.

My theory is that the spiral ramp is a grand water slide for the workers. There is water available and the energy generated could pump water back up to top. Whee!

Whatever is down there won't be disclosed anytime soon

Occam's Razor has absolutely *nothing* to do with complexity or simplicity, it stipulates that the explanation that requires the least amount of *assumptions* is usually the correct explanation.

There were quarries nearby so it would be foolish to dig deep tunnels then raise stone. The entire Giza plateau is limestone.

It is so infuriating how much they underestimate the ingenuity and skills of Ancient people.

I hear there's an F-16 airbase under the pyramids.

As a native Italian speaker you should interview Filippo Biondi and explain him all your criticisms, in order to allow him to answer them properly...
