What's crazy is that they picked a character that I am already strong with (Z Broly) and helped me center a team around him using SSJ Vegeta and they also helped introduce me to Piccolo who helps a lot with midscreen and even corner pressure. Great guide, thanks :)

piccolo on point seems very suboptimal... i think the goal should be to dhc into him for good oki while having his a assist for your point character.

I play aTrunks and aGoku black both as points and aFrieza as anchor. Good comeback with golden frieza

I'm currently running Base Vegeta (A) on Point and Hit (A) on Mid, but for my Anchor I'm struggling to decide between Janemba (A), Baseku (A) and SSJ Goku (A). I feel like Baseku offers the best assist to this team, but the fact that it's difficult to combo into Spirit Bomb with Vegeta (without DHC'ing Hit in first) is kind of an issue. SSJ Goku's beam assist really helps the other two as well, but the fact that he lacks any kind of element of surprise in his kit (not much mix other than universal options, or a command grab, unlike the other two). Janemba solves both of those problems, but his assist doesn't give 'true' blockstun cuz you can always superdash through it.

8:10 this is not a good idea since you can avoid the beam with the right air tech. if you have half a bar you should always spend that or dhc into an assist character for the sliding kd.

I have a question for players better than me. When making a team, aside from assist synergy, what about gameplan synergy? I noticed that top players have teams that all contribute to the same thing, while sometimes having an odd one out if the team really needs it. I saw this on teams like:
Gogeta/Vegito/LC21(they all have good pressure and are hyper aggressive)
Gogeta/Vegito/A17(17 is the odd one out but has an assist that contributes a lot to pressure and aggression)
Base Vegeta/Cell/Janemba(they all have insane Lv3 mix)
Blue Goku/Kefla/Beerus(I don’t understand this one myself but I know they all have insane pressure)
Is this how I’m supposed to make teams? Thanks for reading all that.

I did this a well I was like ok what I want in a team
Low 2L have level 1 and 3 that's air ok Ok assist
Then I got Bardock U.i and tien
Can do all of that and can turn a level 1to level 2 and great auto combos too lol
