the water in the xcove ris normal it is only not on the battery

It's wet outside the silicon band area protection. When you remove back, you can see that not all area is concerned by protection but only area "inside" silicon band.

Hey. Nice your test.I have a Xcover 3 since2 years and used him hardly. The water (cola) you see under the cover is not in the device because there is another rubber who protects the main inner part wich contains sim-battery ...
Last winter I went on holliday in the swimming pool, took pictures in and under water. Today he is always running good..

Lemme do your homework for you. Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 has an IP rating of 67, basically meaning it is waterproof up to 1 metre, and it's supposed to be a rugged phone, that's why it survived in cola.

I have the old Xcover and it is normal that liquid gets between the lid and the back of xcover as shown in the video because the seal is around the battery area!
The battery area is always sealed and the battery never gets shorted by water!
Also, what is the point of immersion a phone in coca-cola? The acid in the coca cola is not attacking glass or plastic! Or you using it as an electrolyte, then you can also use salt water?
