Some jurisdictions now allow you to pass on the cost of credit card processing. This is not the case everywhere, so check that you are allowed to do this before adding the charge to your customers’ invoice. If this is allowed in your jurisdiction, it can help recapture some of the collection costs.

If your items are taxed, do your CC fees include the taxed amount? If you keep the CC fees under your income account, do you have to pay sales tax on it when you file your quarterly sales tax report?

Mine is showing up as a negative (Expense) amount on the P & L. Are you saying that is ok vs showing as income?
