You need an ID to do absolutely everything in this country, but not to vote? I don't get it.

Why are people so against needing an ID to vote

White, black, blue or green, the requirement for a photo ID should be used to verify that you are who you say you are. NAACP should be assisting those folks who need help getting a photo ID. If someone can't get to vote with all the early voting time(that we never had in the past) then they aren't making it a priority to get done.

Without trust in our elections, we cannot survive as a nation. So what is the party in power doing to restore that trust?

Doesn't matter what he said, our elections must not be federalized

The bill also requires that a federal organization be responsible for the collection and counting of votes. Funny they don't mention that?

The constitution already selects the voters. No further amending required. It selects non felon citizens, which you must be, who live in the area they vote. How do we identify who those people are? Voter registration with ID. Voter ID restricts only those who do not qualify to vote from voting because they're not citizens, OR they're not voting where they're supposed to, which is where they live. What's the problem?

The NAACP is just another example of an organization that started out as good and needed that eventually became rotted and corrupt.

No identification no vote, no machines and paper ballots only.

Let me ask you question... do you reward you child after they break your rules? Then why reward people who break our laws... they are still LAWS even under this administration

According to the Constitution handling elections is the responsibility of the states not the federal government. HR1 will take that right from the states and give it to the federal government which in unconstitutional.

Well, getting a government ID is nearly impossible. Wait, it's it? Wouldn't that limit everyone to be able to vote only once if they identified themselves?

There is no one who is preventing you from voting.

ABC News . . . biased? Not a bit. This clip proves it, right?

The Constitution is pretty clear that anything not explicitly mentioned as a federal function should be left to the states. The federal government should not be involved in supervising voting. The Founders didn’t even want direct election of representatives because congresspeople would be swayed by national special interests rather than their constituents.

'party politics'
I think parties should be illegal.
Gives them unfair advantage over the average person.
We have no real representation in government... end the lobbyist system.
