The Animated Series Handbook came with DVD box set of the series and listed states and had all their magic items in it for 3.5.

Nikos magic item is literally the most broken fucking item in the lot. Summon Celestial as 5th level spell summons a Celestial Spirit with AC 16 or AC 18 with 40 Hit Points, that makes two attacks at a +9 to hit that's either a 600 foot ranged attack dealing 2d6 + 7 Radiant damage or a 5 ft. reach melee attack dealing 1d10 + 8 Radiant damage and giving one creature witihin 10 feet of the target or the celestial 1-10 Temporary Hit Points. That's either 28 Radiant from 600 ft. range or 27 Radiant in melee with 11 Temporary Hit Points distributed per round. On top of that, either celestial form (melee or ranged) can heal one target 2d8 + 5 Hit Points as an action 1/day. This creature can be summoned for free, no spell slot required, SIX times a day? Such an OP item especially at low levels! x3

Hey, these are the pre gens we used at the D&D Open at GenCon this year! Different adventure, but I loved these magic items in play. They were impactful but not game breaking, so I’d totally use them again.

Presto should have been a wild Soc. I was also shocked that they are only level 4 after so long lol. Thier DM is realy cheap with the levels lol.

DM’d this adventure tonight for our local Adventurer’s League and it was a blast.

Mix of experienced and new players, ran with Sheila, Bobby, Eric and Diana.

The changes for Martial characters made for some amazing shenanigans with their Magic Items.

I’ll probably run this again for my friends, and I’d wholly recommend it as a taster for some of the new changes.

Everyone having big items at LEVEL 4 is showing the new DMs that magical items don't "break the game", they're made to be *included* in it.

It's weird to see them grown up and still there(wherever they are)because I watched Requiem and I just kinda considered it canon.

The Cloak of Invisibility was previously a Legendary item, and I would bet that if those other items had been created in 2014 they would likely have also been legendary. This may indicate that they are upping magic items' power to make them more interesting for the 2024 DMG. 1-3 hours of unbreakable invisibility for a 4th level rogue is a good time!
