NATAL LUZ which means CHRISTMAS LIGHT, is BRAZIL's largest and longest running CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION. The event lasts for months, from october to the end of january and it happens every year. Brazil is famous for its massive parties and this is no different! GRAMADO is one of many small Brazilian towns settled by immigrants from Germany, Northern Italy, Portugal and the Austro-hungarian empire. These immigrants from Europe came in many waves across the past 5 centuries and brought with them languages, cultures and celebrations such as this. NATAL LUZ celebrates XMAS, the birth of Jesus Christ. The event consists of a variety of CHRISTMAS SHOWS, parades, turning on of the xmas lights and massive CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS.

GRAMADO is famous for its' MOVIE FESTIVAL, chocolate factories and for being one of the places in BRAZIL that snows in winter. GRAMADO is definitely the LAND OF CHRISTMAS in BRAZIL. The city is incredibly well decorated for XMAS. One of the most interesting places on earth to spend XMAS. One of the top places when it comes to CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD or CHRISTMAS TOWNS AROUND THE WORLD.
Brazil is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic country, settled mainly by the Portuguese, but also with a large influx of African Slaves brought from various regions of Africa and millions of immigrants that came from many different European nations, east Asia and the middle east.
