How to charge Sony Cybershot DSC W55 Batteries

Hey so I think my battery does not fit or smth
When I press it a bit, the light turns on for sometime and then just goes off.
I think th battery is not meeting in contact with the things it needs to charge… the rod like thingies inside the bracket

Hello good sir, i have the same exact camera as you, it is quite old even the charger is old. It hasnt been turned on nor charged for a while.
