We found this antique kitchen scale at a local antique/vintage shop here in Belgium. The scale is possibly Belgium or French antique and looks to date around the 1930s 40s.

At some point, someone painted this scale white and gave it some accents. The white finish really changes the look of this scale and I really love the way it looks.

This vintage scale is a very heavy cast iron with the markings "Force 5 kilo scale " and has 2 solid brass trays with the perfect patina. The trays are nice and wide 26 cm (10.25") and are perfect to display lots of items.

The condition of this antique scale is very good with no major damage or repairs. The scale moves very smoothly and could easily be used to weigh items as it did back in the day. The brass trays have some dents but again nothing major.

I will take a short video of this scale in motion and put a link of it on youtube so you can see how smooth it moves.

Below is a breakdown of the product.

Antique Kitchen Scale
- H 28.5 cm (11.25") top of the center needle
-Widest part top tray to tray 60 cm (23.5")
-Trays are 26 cm (10.25") wide
- Weight Kg 7.5(LB 16.5) Approx.
All other items in the picture are not included and are just used to showcase products.

We try to keep our shipping cost as low as possible but we are shipping from Belgium so if you are an overseas client keep that in mind.

Please be aware that on items like copper, bronze, brass, silver, and even on some wood the patina can change by time so depending on how long after the product pictures have been taken the patina can vary.

We also invest in heavy-duty boxes and wrap your item with foam padding, bubble wrap and finish it all off with eco-friendly packing peanuts. This may sound excessive but we want to give your item the best protection for its long journey from Belgium to you.

All of the items we ship are fully insured so you can shop with peace mind that if anything is broken due to shipping it will be taken care of.

Let me know if I can answer any questions.

I'm not sure why you uploaded this nearly two years ago, but I just used it today for animation reference of a vintage scale. Thanks!
