GIMP actually has many more blend/layer modes than Photoshop, along with a panoramic view feature that Photoshop lacks.

My personal favorites: GIMP for the heavy stuff. PhotoscapeX for most of the "cool image" editing, but I'm not a fan of its interface, it's kind of weird. Photopea works great for editing Photoshop files (I don't use Photoshop anymore), but I still have some PSD files and receive files from someone else. I think I've tried all the rest, except Krita, and for me they don't make the cut.

Please do a video for image/photo printing software/tools (precision printing?). i.e. being able to set specific params such as margin, image size, etc. Irfan View seems to be the the only one falling into this category that I've seen.

The free photo editors mentioned in the video are fine if all you're going to do is post your images on social media I suppose but if planning to sell images there isn't enough there for me. I like all the tools available in Photoshop and Lightroom that let me be as creative as I like. When I use these programs I know I will get the results I want without having to find a work around. So many times I hear people saying things like, it kinda works like Photoshop but not exactly and here's what you have to do. For me the measly $200 a year I pay for my subscription to Adobe is well worth the price because I know they will do what I want them to do. There's a reason these programs are the industry standard.

Just for an fyi. It doesnt look like the MS paint version in the vid works with windows 10. Mine still has the old laughable paint version and when I tried to get the new one from the MS store it said my windows version wasnt compatable.

My chief complaint with GIMP is in Windows 11 it uses the Windows print dialog and there is no print preview available. If someone knows where the print plugin can be downloaded I would appreciate it.
