A short video demonstrating how to unpack, assemble and set up your new HP DesignJet T520. Ideally it requires 2 people with magnetised screwdrivers. The process is video recorded at high speed showing simple tips such as assembling the stand and media bin first, using magnetised screwdrivers to avoid losing screws in the works, and then fitting the stand to the printer while it is still upside down and encased in the box. Once the stand has been affixed, the video demonstrates the box, printer and stand being upturned together into an upright position. Next the video shows the removal of all the packaging, noting some packaging has been placed inside the printer and needs to be removed before you switch the machine on. The packaging having been removed, watch how the paper tray is simply fitted and then filled with paper ready for the Printhead alignment. Next, watch how the printer is plugged into the mains (using the anti-surge plug) and the language and country settings are completed, followed by the insertion of the ink cartridges, alignment of the printheads and pulling out of the output tray before printing. Last, but not least, the preferred printer connections are set up for wireless, wired or USB. JOB DONE!

hello. i have a hp t920. I work most of the time with loose sheets. I feel that I lose a lot of time every time I finish printing a file, then it takes about 1 minute for me to access and insert the next page. If I print 120 sheets a day I would lose 2 hours a day as in that process. Is there a way to skip that process every time you finish printing a page?

Seems like nice quality but I regret buying this because of its lack of compatibility with iOS

I was hoping to watch this to be reminded of which way the roll of paper went on -- paper coming off the top or bottom -- but you never show that part. BTW it comes off the top of roll.

Hi there. I was told that the printheads on this printer can't be changed individually, that means if one is bad/faulty the remaining ones will have to be changed as well. Please how true is this?

I was looking very closely to buying this until I was told about the printheads. Please share with me for this will influence my decision. I'm basically looking to print photos. How good is this for photo prints? Thanks

Looking at a T520 at work to replace our aging Designjet 111. We mostly print A1 and A2 with it, don't want to use the roll and not sure if we're gonna use the legs aswell. Can it operate without the legs, will the output tray be enough to not cause the A1/A2 printout fall on the floor?

Pity we did not get to see you replacing or installing a roll of paper on this plotter
