Banks is such a good writer. Quite lyrical. This is the most accurate cover that I've seen. Better than mine for sure. I've never quite got the left hand chords to sound right.

I remember reading somewhere that Tony Banks said this solo was intended to poke fun at Keith Emerson, and you can definitely hear it. He nailed some of Emerson's common themes in this, and it always makes me smile.

Too me the most interesting facet of this iconic solo is not what Banks did with his right hand lead solo. It's the Chords he used underneath that created the most Drama with his left hand! Love this part of Supper's Ready.
