I just recently bought one in crystal white and have been using it for a week now. My helmet it replaced was an Arai RX-Q. Fit was the same for me in both. The quality is typical Arai and like the new liner and vents work well.

Compared to my RX-Q:

I find the Defiant a little more noisy with all the vents open than my RX-Q with all the vent open.Also, it seems I need to turn by head further to the sides to clear my blind spots versus with my RX-Q. I love the pro shade system on my Defiant and overall I'm happy with my purchase.

That external lens looks like it'll cause a lot of resistance on the freeway while up.

I really like this helmet but highly prefer bright colors to be seen such as Hi-Viz.  Any idea of this Defiant Pro-Cruise will be available with Hi-Viz?  Glad I had not purchased the regular Defiant as of yet.  I like the features of this Pro-Cruise.  Thanks guys.

The Arai defiant pro cruise is the US version with a DOT & Snell rating and it's European version as we know is the QV Pro. Is there a difference in the shell shape that they sell across European or US markets or are they the same? Typically how many shell shapes does Arai create for this model? I'm strongly considering to buy this one but I do have a round head shape. Not sure if I can pull the trigger on this one. Any light on this please?

dealer threw in a new arai defiant with my bike, but i need to change the internal pad sizes. seems to make sense to upgrade to the procruise pads. Are they available yet?

I got this helmet in size sm, and it fits me pretty good. however I have one little issue with this helmet. My mouth is too close to inside chin vent, and my lips constantly touching the inside of the helmet. does this mean I need something that is longer front to back?

I had a question about fitment. I have an intermediate oval and when trying on SHOEI helmets they seemed a little loose at my size, same with HJC, however with a Bell it fit perfectly. Are Arai and Bell shapes close? I have never tried on an Arai.
