Dude! Gather a bunch of leaves and place it on grass to create a softer plush bedding. 
You'd be surprised how comfortable you can make it. The more leaves you pile, the more plush they bedding. You can load them into your truck and sleep like a baby!

For the hand saw. Find some nice sticks for handles in the holes. Not your fingers

I like your ingenuity with the tent and mattress it made me laugh. I have the exact same setup as Andrew. Although i do want to get the stove tent for hammocks. Definitely sleeping like a human burrito for a bear's snack.

When using those wire saws try finding some 6" sticks to fit the holes. SAves the fingers and makes the work much easier.

Suggestion on the "finger" saw. Use a piece of wood. Wooden dowel grip it like brass knuckles then saw away.

People that go camping and hiking are always chill and polite. Definitely a place that would be Karen free. Not enough luxury for Karens to be in the wild. Definitely why i love camping. Everyone is in a good mood. Basically they are on vacation for poor people instead of going to the Bahamas or Cancun.

Crows are beasts and they travel in numbers. If you want to get scared of crows you should go to Cortland NY. Its like the horror movie Crows there.I was freaking out about how many Crows were in every tree and they were all kawwwing.

Should have put the mattress in the bed, inflate it, then put the tent on top of it then sleep in the tent. Hind sight is always 20/20.

Suggestion with the wiresaw you should put a stick through each hole so you can put some power on and and it won't hurt your hands.
