Make your very own custom clasp purse! Everyone at The Makery seems to be walking around with these little beauties and it's the first thing we comment on when we see each other. Once you get the knack it's not too tricky to make. They're such a cute, affordable, unique accessory.

All you'll need is:

2) Lining fabric
3) Iron on interfacing
4) Paper pattern
5) Piping cord
6) Clasp
7) Glue
8) Pins
9) Something pointy
10) Scissors
11) Pliers

thanks for your tutorial, just had my first go at this. I was making a vintage-style specs case/pouch with the kiss-lock clasp. It was much harder than I thought, maybe because I was using velvet lined with satin - two slippery fabrics. The pouch ended up being not wide enough to fit in the frame properly, but I managed to get it attached with the right amount of glue and extra twine. It is ok, just a bit wonky. I will try again sometime
