Ya, saving $40 a month on groceries is almost $500 a year. Lots of great advice here. My wife and I delivered the Newspaper in town for 7 years .... we got some money and great exercise while being paid.

New York State parks are free to veterans. Just show proof (license designation). Never a problem.

Attending high school sports, which in itself is a blast and affordable entertainment - they give senior discount of $2 on a $7 ticket ... so take it, and in Colorado you only have to be 55 !

Hi I really enjoy your Videos. I do long term house sits, usually about a month long at a time. I am based in Belleville ontario, But just happen to be in Winnipeg till next friday. I get to travel Canada for a small investment. saves me lots of funds in retirement, I am 2 years in. starting 3 weeks in Ottawa next. All so Via rail has a discount rate and booking early provides low rates.

My auto insurance granted me both Senior and Veteran discounts. BUT… I had to ask for them. Otherwise they never would’ve offered.
