Digging into the etymology of "sherd, " I've found it's derived from the Old English "sceard;" which is itself related to Old Norse "skarð" and Middle High German "schart"...and they translate to "Notch".

You can just see on google trends that the search term for "sherd" skyrocketed just today. I feel as if I'm left behind and I must start sherding myself.

Actually, sherds aren't the only change in this snapshot, the trail ruins also changed.
They are now a bit different in design (for example they have crafting tables inside), and also all sus sand inside is now sus gravel.
